Mary Alice primarily relies on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques to support clients with developing effective skills and resources that help reduce distress and suffering. She is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ people, as well as those struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, chronic pain\/illness, and harm reduction. Her experience includes working with children and adults of varying socioeconomic and sociocultural backgrounds in the DC metro area. Additionally, she works with individuals who are in the LGBTQIA+, consensually non-monogamous, and kink\/bdsm communities.
